Privacy & wellbeing

A clear place to understand what Calmora can — and cannot — do.

Calmora offers small, self-guided ways to pause and reflect. This page explains the difference between your account records and local exercise progress, and keeps the boundary with professional care visible.

A bounded view of your data

What Calmora stores, and where.

Calmora keeps account-backed features behind sign-in and scopes those records to the signed-in member. The short exercise timers work differently: their in-progress snapshots stay in your browser.

Saved to your account
  • Check-ins. Your saved emotional check-ins are linked to your Calmora account.
  • Journal entries. Words you choose to save in the journal are kept as account-scoped entries.
  • Programme access and progress. Your access and completed programme days are associated with your account.

These features are read and written through authenticated, owner-scoped Calmora routes. They are not public pages or shared lists.

Kept in your browser

The breathing, grounding and relaxation timers save their in-progress exercise snapshots in your browser so a short session can resume locally.

That timer progress is separate from your Calmora account records. Using an exercise does not turn its countdown into a check-in, journal entry or programme record.

This page describes the current product behaviour. It does not make additional claims about retention periods, cookies, third-party processing, account deletion or legal rights. For a privacy question about your situation, email Calmora.

The important boundary

Helpful support, not clinical care.

Calmora is
A self-guided wellbeing space with short exercises, reflections and a structured self-help programme to complement the support already around you.
Calmora is not
A medical service, diagnosis, treatment or crisis service. Calmora does not diagnose, treat or cure conditions, and it cannot replace qualified professional or emergency care.

Use professional care when you need it.

If you are worried about your mental or physical health, speak with a qualified professional. If you may be in immediate danger, use the urgent UK support guidance below rather than relying on a Calmora exercise.

Immediate and urgent support

You do not have to handle a crisis alone.

The support information below is the same UK guidance used throughout Calmora. Follow the route that fits your situation.
